Wow, November is here! And I have a Pink Thanksgiving Tablescape Idea for you today. Using my Grandma’s vintage Desert Rose Franciscan Ware.
I have used this lovely place setting for other Thanksgiving or even Spring tablescapes, but I haven’t accentuated the pink for Fall or Thanksgiving.
I was up for the challenge as I gathered the plates, bowls and my own flatware.
I definitely enjoy using the Desert Rose pattern as our everyday dishes.
AND, it looks stunning with my husband’s grandma’s Depression glassware.
The green leaves look lovely against the fresh eucalyptus leaves and my faux pink peonies.
The quilted table runner is actually a curtain that my mother-in-law pieced together for her family room. She has since passed and I am blessed enough to have the full set of curtains. Using them as a table runner is the perfect pop of blue and green that accents the green in the plates and bowls.
I love vintage book page crafts and my vintage book page wreath is a great focal point for this Pink Thanksgiving Tablescape Idea.
I bought the flatware before I was even married. I loved the gaudy, vintage look.
It’s fun to layer colors, style and vintage looks for my Pink Thanksgiving Tablescape Idea.
I am very pleased with my Pink Thanksgiving Tablescape Idea. Not only because of the colors and vintage style, but because I was able to use pieces that are meaningful to me and our family.
For the most part, I like to create something fresh with what I already have. Whether it’s using vintage book pages, a quilted curtain, a eucalyptus and feather garland, or even a REAL vintage farmhouse window as a backdrop. My creative juices start flowing. I move things around, take things off and grab a vintage hand-crocheted table cloth as a blanket throw.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit here, today and been inspired to create your own Pink Thanksgiving Tablescape Idea.
