Vintage Book Page Wreath Tutorial

October 12, 2018 By Meegan 1 Comment

As promised, I am going to share my Vintage Book Page Wreath Tutorial.

The first book page wreath I made, I created book page cones. This was one of my very first blog posts, so PLEASE excuse the poor photography. (Sigh)

I also made a book page wreath that you could use 4 ways:

As you might be able to tell, I love book page crafts.

This Vintage Book Page Wreath Tutorial is quite different from the others.

To make your own Vintage Book Page Wreath you will need:

1-vintage book ( I bought mine at the thrift store)

1-foam wreath form

hot glue gun

hot glue sticks

1-lipstick tube

Start of by carefully tearing the book pages off of the spine.

Tear each book page in half.

NOW…Fold the book page half around the lipstick tube. I know-it sounds weird, but trust me.

Once the book page is around the lipstick tube, apply your hot glue to the end. (Like the picture above.)

Using the lipstick tube, push your book page onto the foam wreath.

Continue around your wreath until it is as full as you want.

You can make it as full or light as you want. I like mine full, so I placed each book page right next to the others. Filling in spots as I went along.

You don’t need to be a perfectionist. The book pages are crunched up, so they have a life of their own.

Just have fun and enjoy this Vintage Book Page Wreath Tutorial.

Take your time and decorate it with your own style. I used a feather and eucalyptus leaf banner and fairy lights in this picture.

I am looking forward to showing you my Fall Centerpiece using my new book page wreath. Hopefully that will be in just a few days time.

Thanks for joining me today. Make it a great day.
