Field Trip Friday Fall Harvest Festival

Hello and Happy Friday! I am sorry my post is up a little late today. I had one of my less effective days yesterday. The definition of that means: I had a seizure last night. I am okay, but need to lay low at least for the next 24 hours or more. It’s ALL good. I am fine, just s-l-o-w…

BUT, I am excited to tell you about Field Trip Friday Fall Harvest Festival!

I was contacted by a local bloggers to visit the Fall Harvest Festival. I could hardly wait to see what it was all about.

The Fall Harvest Festival is at Floyd Lamb Park in Las Vegas.

The hours are:

Weekdays: 2p.m.-5p.m.

Weekends: 10 a.m.-5p.m.

Floyd Lamb Park has beautiful scenery, complete with birds, ducks and geese beside the lake.

You will get to select your own pumpkins right from a home grown pumpkin patch.

There are a least half a dozen peacocks grazing the area. (Don’t you LOVE their colors?)

Hayrides and Horses: There are a variety of horses to get you around (Belgian & Percheron horses)

During the weekdays, the hayride is ideal for the little ones. There are a few large spiders and grave yards to spot. Then on e the weekends, it gets a little scarier with zombies wondering through your hayride path.

Petting Zoo: You have around 20 animals to explore (donkeys, goats, llama’s and more!)

The corn maze is really fun for everyone, as well. There are also a large variety of pumpkins to choose from as you find your way to the end.

I’ve got the Monday Blues-Cottage Style Revisited

Hello Hello!! It’s Monday and I’ve got the Monday Blues-Cottage Style Revisited today. This one of MY fave Monday Blues posts and… You MAY recognize this post from the Springtime. My blog is having problems loading pictures right now, so ALL of the posts I have ready to share with you-have to wait. BOO!! (I am working on the problem as I am writing this. Hopefully it won’t take too long)

BUT, Love me some blue, love me some cottage style. And It is a great way to spend a Monday, looking at blues AND cottages, right???

What’s not to love about this kitchen? The accents are perfectly balanced. The counters and the pantry door are what caught my eye. Maybe I need a screen door. What about you?

Completely Coastal

The crisp white walls and the simple blue accents are an excellent way to bring in a cottage feel. The blue tray filled with blue accents-perfection! Gotta love the ocean pillow, too.

The Little Corner

I am loving all of the blue textures in this tiny space. The blue table, bottles, rocker, plates and throw-mmmm…love it. Lots of blue eye candy here.

Sweet for a nice touch in a bathroom-A blue chair of course!! With blue towels and fresh flowers, who could go wrong with this look?

Okay, I have a thing for blue doors, I can’t help it. You must admit this is a delightful addition for your garden wall. And the cans-so creative and inviting!!

The Lettered Cottage

Everything about this space makes me smile. The various blues, the shells, the baskets, the tea towels, and fresh flowers are everything my blues love.

I know, another blue door-I seriously love blue doors. Look at this dining room set?? The blue chairs, the white table with a simple, yet warm centerpiece. And, don’t miss the awesome chandy. Too fun!!

I am inspired by this cozy corner. Detailed without being too crowded. The blue shelf and lantern make my blues so happy!! Anything mentioning the beach makes me happy.
