Happy Monday!! I am home for a few days after traveling to 11 states in 5 days!! I’ve Got the Monday Blues for some thrifted Tea Plates and Saucers. I found these lovelies about 3 weeks ago. Each one was calling to me saying,”You need me for above your laundry closet!” Well, not really, but how could I NOT buy these for our home???
And, at 50 cents to a dollar a piece, I REALLY had to get them. As I perused through the stacks of plates. I wondered what stories each plate could tell me. Did they belong to a full set of china? Were they someone’s best dishes? Where were the other pieces that matched?
That’s how my brain works. They aren’t just plates to decorate with, they are pieces of someone’s history. Now they are MY history, right?
After attaching each one with hot glue and a paper clip, I was ready to hang my thrifted tea plates and saucers.
I switched my plates above my pantry for a new look and variety.
I am happy to have my laundry closet area look a little more inviting. The tea plates and saucers add charm and personality to what was an empty, blank slate.
I am really happy with this look. My thrifted tea plates and saucers were right! I DID need them above my laundry closet.
Now I am looking for some tea cups for a new Spring vignette that I want to create in our living room. I can hardly wait to share it with you.
I am happy to be here every Monday for:
Make it a blue Monday!

Great plates and they look so good where you placed them. Don’t you just love finding great treasures?
Have a great week.

very cute! I love this idea. We are in the process of buying a new home and I’m looking for lots of inspiration to decorate. New house means clean slate to start over!
