Using Vintage Jewelry in YOUR Christmas Vignettes

December 9, 2014 By Meegan 1 Comment

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I am a little slow on getting my post up today.  I want to show you my idea of Using Vintage Jewelry in YOUR Christmas Vignettes.  I have had a lot of fun with epsom salts and artificial snow.

Using Vintage Jewelry in YOUR Christmas Vignettes

Last year, I used my epsom salts and lots of woodsy creations here.

This year I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, and I think you will like them…

I am blessed to own my grandparents Christmas decorations.  I have fun and enjoy setting them up with a new twist to fit my home.

This year I thought it would be fun to add a little bling to my slats and snow with some vintage jewelry.

I started out by adding pearls to my hinged vintage mason jars.

Then I placed a battery operated tea light in each one.  So fun as festive, don’t you think?

Adding a string of gold pearls in a vintage jelly jar is just the look I was hoping for.

This is my fave jar.  I filled it with epsom salts, vintage pins and chandelier crystals that I bought at Habitat for Humanity.  Then wrapped around the top is my great grandma’s necklace.  I LOVE this look!!

You KNOW I can’t resist blue.  I cleaned out an old candle holder, added some snow and vintage blue jewelry, and voila!  Ummm, maybe this is my fave???

Lastly, I had another empty candle holder. Adding a crystal door knob and key were the touch I was looking for.  Vintage and sparkly.
