Hello my friends! It is one of my favorite times of the week. When I get to share my Vintage Thrifted Finds. It is always fun to show you my finds. Recently I showed you my Breakfast Nook filled with thrift furniture. It was a really fun room to create and it is completely furnished with thrifted furniture.
But today I am excited to show you my Vintage Thrifted Finds in preparation for a tea party I am hosting this coming Saturday.
This past week Hubby took me to a couple of antique stores and a thrift store. Yes, he knows my love language…
I hit the jack pot! I was looking for dessert plates, a tea pot and a couple of platters.
My first purchase was this lovely platter with blue flowers. Oh! Did I mention it was 70% off?
I am excited about the rose pattern on the gold trimmed platter, too. (Another 70% off purchase) Can’t you picture finger sandwiches on this platter? I can’t wait!
AND, this precious tea pot! I am loving the gold details, don’t you?
Since I am making sandwiches, I thought it would be fun to cut them into shapes. Perfect for a Spring tea, right?
Of course I need dessert plates, right? I think it will be fun to have various plates and patterns for my tea party. I really have never liked matchy match. So I am set with all of my Vintage Thrifted Finds.
I think it is fascinating how they aren’t the same pattern, but they go together. Some have gold trim and others have silver, but they look great when placed together.
It was a fun two days of shopping for my Vintage Thrifted Finds. Now to get ready for my tea party. I will definitely share all the details and progress right here on my blog. So, please stay tuned…
Make it a lovely day!

I love the violets! I love to thrift but my hubby gets put out with me. Although he has gotten great deals on glass mixing bowls since I drop them, oops, because I have hand issues. Dishes are my love, but not the first one. These dishes are beautiful. Now I need to go thrift! Thanks for sharing.

I haven’t always been a thrift shopper, but in the last few years it has been fun to see the true treasures I can find.
