Welcome Home Summer Tour (with Balsam Hill)

June 2, 2015 By Meegan 38 Comments

I am so happy you are here today! It’s feeling like Summer with the temps in the 100s already. Wow!  That means it is a perfect time to have a Welcome Home Summer Tour with Balsam Hill, right?

I am lucky enough to be partnering with more than 20 bloggers for the Welcome Home Summer tour with Balsam Hill. I guarantee you will be motivated and inspired to prepare your home with Summer decor after this week.

Welcome Home Summer Tour with what meegan makes

The tour started yesterday and will last all week long.

Balsam Hill Wreath arrives in a secure box

My Summer decor inspiration started when I received a 26″ Balsam Hill Mountain Meadow Wreath. Oh my, don’t you love it when you hear the door bell ring and you KNOW what it is?

Balsam Hill Mountain Meadow Wreath

I could hardly wait to hang it up. I was excited to make it a focal point in our living room. Fabulous, don’t you think?

Mountain Meadow Wreath Details

Look at the details. The wreath looks real, doesn’t it? And, it even lights up!

Did I mention that this is technically a Christmas wreath? The quality is pristine and perfect. There are yellow, gold and red berries, and touches of pearl white berries, as well.  The Noble Fir needles adorned with refreshing natural elements, including pine cones, eucalyptus, and cypress are a beautiful sight any time of year.

Balsam Hill Wreath

For a Summery feel to this already stunning wreath, I added some cuttings from a Butterfly bush from right outside of our door. Can you see the highest of quality in the wreath details? Each wreath is crafted to ensure quality and longevity.

I used the Butterfly bush cuttings in other areas of our home as well.

Summer Home Ideas

Summer Table Cloth Throw

Going for a light Summer feel in our home, I used a vintage crocheted table cloth as a throw.  I like the airy look rather than a heavy looking throw for the Summer months.

Summer Sea Shell Pedestal

Shells are a must for my Summer decor. They remind me of the beach, my favorite place.

Summer Home Tour with Balsam Hill

I really like this view and how the Mountain Meadow Wreath stands out no matter where you are in the room.

BUT, once the Butterfly bush cuttings dried out, I still wanted a Summery feel in our home.

It is as easy as 1,2,3 to make your own pennant.

Summer Mountain Meadow Wreath

A few Summer colors with a Christmas wreath? I think it looks very attractive. The colors in the pennant help highlight the berries, don’t you think?

It has been a pleasure to work with Balsam Hill.

Love what you did with your wreath and how the colors of the berries and banner pick up the colors of summer against your adorable bird picture making the perfect summer wall setting.

Hi Meegan, Such a clever idea to add the butterfly bush cuttings and then use them to tie in. Thank you for showcasing the wreath so well and the other foliage beside the fir. The darling penant was a great way to bring in some color after the cuttings had run their course. The penants picked up the color tones in the bird print above which is delightful. Great job!
