Wow! 2015 has come and gone in a flash. It is time for a fresh start with new ideas, meaning and for me. That is why I chose my Word of The Year-Purpose.
Do YOU chose a word of the year? Do you plan goals for yourself?
Let’s talk about it…
Last year my word was Simplify.
It was the ideal word for me. I learned to simplify my life and blogging in many aspects. From purging my closets to blogging with more meaning. I simplified my thought process and worked hard on only doing what was most important.
This year, 2016 I am going to work on living my life with PURPOSE. How will this help me as a blogger? Using and praying about this word, I will awake each day filled with purpose. My daily goals will be “simplified” and filled with PURPOSE. Being at home most days it is easy to get “stuck” reading blogs, looking through Facebook and clicking through on Instagram.
With my word being “PURPOSE”, I will fill my days with more purposeful activities. If I am going to read or peruse the internet, it will have meaning and purpose behind it. IE; Like reading more about how to become a better woman, more spiritual, improve my blog, how to create better content, and share quality instead of quantity.
I bought a new planner. Yay! January is filled with thoughts, topics and a blogging schedule. That will help me work with “PURPOSE”. I can still have frivolous time, but I will see my goals in front of me every day. I will KNOW what I am doing tomorrow and the next day.
Believe me, I know I will have set backs. Things will come up, but I will have purpose in my days, hours and minutes. I will have more time to enjoy with my family instead of scrambling to get my blog posts done for you.
As my gift to you, I made this FREE printable to remind you throughout 2016 to keep goals, no matter our age. We are never TOO old. Never. To copy the printable just right click over the picture and click print.
I hope you think about a Word of the Year that can help you in YOUR life. I am thankful I have my Word of The Year-Purpose. I know that I will think about it on a daily basis. And in turn I will become a better person, woman, mother, daughter and friend.
Let’s all work together to help each other create meaningful and days filled with PURPOSE.
Happy New Year!
