Happy Saturday everyone! I hope the sun is shining wherever you are today. It’s nice and hot here in Nevada with a high in the 80s today. It’s the ideal time to show you a Easy to Make Spring Wreath.
I am thrilled with how this came out, and I hope to inspire you to make your own to welcome your guests for Easter and all Spring long.
Welcome to my home as we get started…
The Easy to Make Spring Wreath components are:
1 straw wreath (you could also use a grapevine wreath, if you like that better)
vintage book pages
1 bush of pink peonies
1 stem of pussy willows
gun gun
glue sticks
hefty scissors for cutting the floral stems
I started out buy using a straw wreath covered with book pages. I made an Easter Book Page Wreath last year and taught how to cover a straw wreath with book pages. I used the same wreath for this Easy to Make Spring Wreath.
I purchased my peony bush and pussy willows at the craft store.
After cutting the blossoms off of the stems I started to place leaves around them to add some Spring green. Using the hot glue gun I attached the leaves to the blossom and then to the wreath.
The next blossom is a little smaller and I hot glued towards the inside of the wreath. Once again adding more of the leaves.
Adding the third blossom with a leaf to the left of the second blossom seemed to be just the right touch.
From there I added 2 of the largest blossoms on the bush, fanning the leaves and tucking them in random places.
That was my effort to make it look life like.
I had several stems of pussy willows to tuck in the Easy to Make Spring Wreath.
When adding the pussy willows, place them in and around the peonies. Whatever YOU like best.
See how easy it is to make your own Spring wreath? I can have mine hanging on my front door at LEAST until Memorial Day, don’t you think?
Are you going to have an Easy to Make Spring Wreath on YOUR front door this Spring, too?
I hope you have been inspired to make your own Spring wreath with some of your favorite Spring blossoms.
Have a fabulous weekend with those you love…
I don’t want you to miss out on my latest posts.
