Polka Dot Valentine Bunting

February 1, 2014 By Meegan 25 Comments

Spread Some Love This Valentine’s Day…Along with a Polka Dot Valentine bunting!!  I am so happy to have you here today!  I hope you enjoy your stay.

Let me show you my how easy peasy this Polka Dot Valentine Bunting REALLY is.

How To Make a Burlap Valentine Bunting by meeganmakes.com

I had so much fun making this Polka Dot Valentine Bunting for my Valentine’s shelves.  And, it was SO easy!

Starting out with 5 hearts from my polka dot fabric and using a heart cookie cutter was my guide.  Like I said, “Easy Peasy!”  I love this vibrant red for Valentine’s Day.  I actually used the same fabric for My Fourth of July Wreath here.

After cutting out 5 hearts, I cut out 5 pieces of burlap, slightly larger than my hearts.  I frayed each piece of burlap at the bottom for a more rustic look.  Using fabric glue, I adhered each heart to each piece of burlap.

Now I was ready to affix them to twine.  I used my hot glue gun for this process.

I am loving my Polka Dot Valentine Bunting,  for Valentine’s Day.

They add just the right touch to my Valentine Shelves, don’t they?

Valentine Book Page Art and Bunting

My family was visiting last weekend, and 2 of my daughter-in-laws saw my bunting and couldn’t resist making their own while they were here.  It was really fun, and a super fast project.  I hope you take some time to make yourself a Polka Dot Valentine Bunting, too.

Make it a Polka Dot Day!!

I love your heart banner! Isn’t it great to make something easy that’s also festive? I also love the way you tied rick rack around your candles to coordinate with your banner.

I like to give out kid’s valentines and candies to my coworkers… we work so hard, so it is fun to be a little silly.
