It’s a beautiful time of year filled with blooming flowers, Spring festivities, Easter parties, picnics, and Sunday brunches. What an ideal time to design your own Vintage Spring or Easter Tablescape.

With thrifted finds, Grandma’s antique dishes, fresh flowers and some unique pieces you are able to create an inviting space for your guests.
To begin, gather your pieces together. They can be matching colors or YOUR favorite colors. Whatever YOU like is perfect!

Since I live in an cottage apartment complex, outdoor plants or bushes are limited. There are MANY lantana plants growing right outside the living room window. These pink and yellow ones are my favorite anytime of year.
PLUS! They coordinate with my Grandma’s Desert Rose dishes. How could it get any better, right?

The trees are also starting to sprig new leaves. Using small clippings are a unique way to add texture and the promise of Spring.

As mentioned above, these are my Grandma’s Desert Rose dishes. I have just about every piece ever made. So it’s fun to use them all year long, for any holiday. The color and design easily match Spring and Easter.
The dishes give the touch I am looking for in this Vintage Spring or Easter Tablescape.

Oh my goodness, while on a road trip, we were driving through a small town in Texas. We stopped at a tiny antique store. While browsing through, I spotted this gorgeous pitcher with a set of matching glasses. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are cohesive with Grandma’s dishes.

For added layers, you can make your own DIY “No Sew” drop cloth table runner. Find the tutorial here.

Placing wine glasses filled with limeade (and a lime wedge), definitely create ambiance and color.
A simple Spring quote is a sweet touch. Vintage candlesticks add even more texture and style.
From this point, you can add more layers with folded cloth napkins, moss candle holders, a rustic/naked cake, and still have time to get ready to greet your guests.

A Vintage Spring or Easter Tablescape can help you use your own creativity and your own unique look. Your guests will be impressed, for sure! More importantly, you’ll have fun!
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you have been inspired and enjoy your Spring and Easter season.
