Easy Easter Place Cards

March 16, 2015 By Meegan 7 Comments

Good Morning and Happy Monday!  Easter is on it’s way. Are you decorating for Spring and Easter yet?  Are you hosting Easter dinner?  If so, I have some Easy Easter Place Cards for your table.  They don’t take much time and will add a Spring look to your table setting.

Easy Easter Place Cards

I hope you like them as much as I do.  Let’s get started…

Easter Place Cards

Here is what you will need:

peat pots

reindeer moss

office tags

artificial eggs

lace

batting

hot glue gun

hot glue

letter stamps

ink pad

Easter Place Card Tag

Using the ink pad and stamps I wrote my name on the office tags.

I then wrapped lace around the top edge of the peat pot, using hot glue to affix it to the pot.

I attached the tag with with with hot glue, as well. (On the inside of the pot)

How To Make an Easter Place Card

To give the moss the appearance of filling the peat pot, I filled it ALMOST to the top with batting.

Adding the reindeer moss and the speckled eggs were my final step.

Of course, Hubby needs one, too.  There are so many variations you could do to add your own flair or taste.

Making Easy Easter Place Cards has been one of my most recent crafts.

It’s was fun to think of Easters in the past.  Especially as a child, or when my children were small.  Now, I can have memories with all of our grandbabies.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays.  The weather is usually beautiful, we have a barbeque, an Easter egg hunt, and of course my Grandma’s Orange Cupcakes for dessert.  I am getting excited just thinking about it.

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope you create some Easy Easter Place Cards and let me know how they turn out.

Make it a wonderful Monday.
