It’s May and full of flowers everywhere! So why not have a Stenciled Floral Coffee Table??? Sounds fun to me! You KNOW how much I like flowers. So why not on a coffee table…
I bought my coffee table at a garage sale for $15. Since then I have painted it and made it my own. And you bet, I did use a hammer to get the dents and dings I like. (Fun times! You should try it)
And, boy do I love it! It is the perfect size for our smallish living room. It actually was a display table in Hollister. Funny, huh? BUT, now it’s mine and I can’t wait to add some floral to this lovely.
I decided to use the same stencils that I had used for my Spring Inspired Fleur Pot. For my floral design, I used some paint I bought at Habitat For Humanity. Yep, I bought it for a dollar. Gotta love me a deal!
Using the bunch of flowers on the stencil, I made my own center runner. Now it looks complete.
Once the paint was almost dry, I used a #10 grade sandpaper to rough it up.
My Stenciled Floral Coffee Table is just what the doctor ordered for our living room.
Have you ever stenciled anything? You might want to give it a try. There are so many varieties of stencil all over the web and craft stores like Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. You could stencil anything from your walls, home decor and even your own Stenciled Floral Coffee Table.
I am so happy you stopped by today! It’s fun to share what I have been doing around here. I am also thrilled for you to see many other floral furniture ideas. These gals are some of THE best at furniture makeovers. I KNOW you will be inspired.
Make it a Stenciled Floral Day!!
Love the table Meegan. It really works with your floral pillows….which I am in love with!!
Great job, Meegan! Don’t you just love finding cheap furniture and making it over? My coffee table was $10 and I still love it to this day! :)
Oh…and I just have to mention your little picture frame with the hand written “I love you”…it’s just about the sweetest detail I’ve ever seen! It’s written by a little family member, I presume? Precious!!
Your stenciled table looks perfect for summer. The blue coordinates perfectly with your decor.
It’s amazing how a stencil can completely transform just about anything. This turned out so good! I love it.
So pretty Meegan!! I love the color, of course!! ;) And how crazy, a display table…I love it!!
