Using Baskets In The Home

January 6, 2017 By Meegan 1 Comment

It’s that time of year when we are purging, organizing and redecorating our homes.  There is a simple solution that helps organize and creates a lovely atmosphere in our homes. Using Baskets In The Home, not only helps organize our belongings, but adds texture and is appealing to the eye.

From the front door, clear into the laundry room baskets are an essential home accessory.

The spice rack I made into a flower basket hangs on my front door. A basket filled with flowers greets my visitors and family.

Fresh flowers placed in jars and then a large basket is a pretty way to set a tablescape. Another way to greet your guests any time of year.

Landry Basket as A Gift Basket

A unique way to give a gift would be in a laundry basket. How cute is this? The laundry basket can hold a myriad of gifts or one large gift.

A small woven basket is a great way to gather small gifts for a housewarming gift. It can hold cleaners, wipes, a candle, and dish soap easily. Add a bow and you have a creative gift.

Wire baskets are fun to use as Holiday decor, too. Fill one up with colorful ornaments and greenery. Set it on your front porch and you are set.

Shop through thrift stores and garage sales for baskets-as they can be pretty expensive. You can paint them, tie bows, add chalkboard tags, use them for organizing or home decor. They are a versatile in every style home.
