Welcome on this lovely Wednesday. I am here today to show you how easy it is to make an EASY Valentine Flower Pocket. I keep seeing amazing Valentine wreaths all over Pinterest, and I thought I would create something for our front door with things that I already have.
It was SUPER easy. And I know you like that, too. So let’s get started…
My first step to my EASY Valentine Flower Pocket was to use my pink heart cookie cutters. I have various sizes and these were just what I needed.
I tied them to the pocket wire with red ric rac. If you have been reading my blog very long, you KNOW i have a thing for ric rac. (Insert huge smile!)
Next I added the artificial pink flowers. I like them because they aren’t a “heavy” flower. Just light and wispy.
I love love love chalkboards! I have some that I made out of cardboard. ( You can see that tutorial here.) Using my chalk I drew a heart. Then clipped it to my EASY Valentine Flower Pocket. I used a clothes pin that I painted and added a rosette to. I am most certainly loving this look.
I added a scrap of red and white polka dot fabric to add a little Valentine red. I have also used this fabric for Valentines day here.
I am now crushing not only how EASY it was to make my EASY Valentine Flower Pocket, BUT I am lovin’ the look, as well.
I hope you have been inspired today to make something beautiful for your front door for Valentines Day.
