And lastly a scrumptious recipe that is a family favorite anytime of year:

Crock Pot Chicken Nachos

The EASIEST Chicken Nachos

Ingredients needed:

3 chicken breasts, frozen or thawed

1 large jar salsa (preferably HOT-it gives the chicken so much more flavor)

1/2 cup to 3/4 cup sour cream

Tortilla chips

Toppings:

cheese, homemade salsa, olives, tomatoes, lettuce,

cilantro, jalapenos, guacamole, lime or lemon

In the crock pot add:

Chicken breasts

1 whole jar salsa

Cook on low for 4 1/2 hours

Shred chicken and add the 1/2 to 3/4 cup sour cream (add to your own taste)

That’s it!  You are ready to serve your scrumptious Chicken Nachos.

We LOVE  lime squeezed over our nachos  Although lemon is pretty good, too.

This is great for a crowd and ideal for a “Nacho Bar”

I make this pretty much once every few weeks. It also is ideal for tacos on Taco Tuesday and taquitos.  PLUS, it freezes really well.

Okay, so now you should be set with 10 Hot and Spicy Cinco de Mayo recipes, right?  They are all stress-free, just like Cinco de Mayo should be.
