My Apothecary Jar Sea Shell Collection is a new piece in my new apartment. Actually I have lived here since March, but it still feels new to me.
Not only is it a new piece, but I found it for a steal of a deal!
You KNOW how much I love me a great thrifted find, as you can see here. And if there is a way I can incorporate them in my home decor, I sure will.
I have certainly had some good luck when it comes to amazing finds, lately. And my new Apothecary jar is no exception.
I was browsing through Hobby Lobby for a piece of art to hang over our mantel and stumbled upon this beauty of a jar! Thinking that it would be at LEAST $24, I was going to pass on it, for now.
But as I looked closer, it was only $4.99! What the heck. That even included the lid! To say it just about jumped in my cart is a pretty accurate statement.
My creative juices were overflowing. I could use it for Christmas decorating, filled with crystals and ornaments, create a snow village with tiny houses and cotton batting. I wanted to fill it to the brim with Oreo cookies for when the grand-babies visit, make a beautiful trifle dessert so you could see all the delicious layers, layer colorful Easter eggs and moss or Fall leaves and pumpkins. Depending on the season or event-I have so many options.

For now, I have created an Apothecary Jar Sea Shell Collection.
Throughout the year, my husband, kids and grand kids find “treasures” for me while they are traveling, at the beach, out for a walk, visiting the lake, or even on a walk to the pool.
My new “steal of a deal” is perfect for displaying some of those incredible and beautiful pieces for my new apartment and Summer decorating.
From colorful shells, starfish, and unusual rocks, I just love my Apothecary Jar Sea Shell Collection.
This Apothecary Jar Sea Shell Collection looks nice in my apartment on my book case (for now).
My creative juices are already flowing for the next season and event! If you found a piece like this, what would YOU fill it with? I would love to hear all about it!
Thanks for joining me on this amazing find with so many ideas and creative venture.
Make it a wonderful day!
