I love, love Summer. There is no doubt about it. As it is the end of August, I know Fall is coming on, soon. So with that, today’s blog post is A Nod To Fall.
If you are visiting from The Roots of Home, I am more than excited to have you here. I hope we will get to know each other better.
As part of today’s Celebrate Fall Home Tour, I will be working with and sharing incredible bloggers and their own Fall Home style. There is everything from vintage, pumpkins, wreaths, outdoor decor, mantels, fall and neutral colors. All you could want for Fall and more. I will be sharing their links in the bottom of this post.

I love the way you incorporated fruit into your early fall decorating! It’s very hot here still also so I completely understand adding just a few small fall touches and yours are beautiful!
Thanks for being part of this fun tour!
Thank for stopping by, Leen. It’s always fun to use fruit for Fall. Thank you also for organizing the Fall tour. It’s been inspiring to see all of the incredible ideas.
Your cottage apartment looks so pretty decorated with a nod to fall. I love your wheat dishes! My aunt had those and seeing them brought back great memories.
Thank you, Paula. Isn’t it fun to add a vintage touch to every season and holiday? The wheat dishes are a thrifted find. I am glad you have sweet memories by seeing them. I am glad you stopped by. Love to you, my friend.
Meegan, you have some great ideas here for fall. I’m still in the midst of decorating so now you have me itching to get out and shop for some great new and vintage pieces. I especially love that large amber jar. So pretty!
Thanks for stopping by, Patti! Isn’t the amber bleach bottle amazing? I found it at a local antique shop and now I am on the hunt for more :)
Love all your Fall decor ideas, but now you’ve got me craving key lime pie – lol !
I know, right! I am also craving my No Bake Lemon Cream pie. SO delish.
Your home looks lovely! I agree that going full out on your fall decor in August just seems too early. But like you, I love adding small touches of fall to my decor. Thanks for the inspiration
You are so kind, Marianne. Thank you for your compliments. Your home is so lovely all year long. It’s fun to feed off of each others ideas, isn’t it?
The blue mirror gallery is sooooooooooo stunning, Meegan. What a great way to make a small home look bigger and don’t even get me started on that croquet box. That’s so special.
Oh, that’s my favorite spot in the apartment, right now. Each of the mirrors was thrifted or less than $10.
I know, right! I don’t think I could ever let go of the croquet box. Not only the look, but sentimental reasons of playing with Grandpa on Sunday evenings for years.
I’m seeing lots of amber jugs today and love how pretty yours looks on the table with your dishes. I enjoyed your post so much Meegan. It’s fun to see how we celebrate the seasons in different parts of the country. Hugs!
I guess amber glass is the new color trend, huh? I just love vintage pieces and to incorporate them any way I can. Who knows what it will be next :)
I, too enjoy seeing the traditions and styles all around.
Take care, my sweet friend.
Meegan – this is so pretty! I love the apples on the jars – such a cute idea. And I totally get what you mean about hot Vegas. We lived there for 7 years and it was difficult to welcome that Fall season when the temps were still soaring. You nailed it, my friend! And I wish I could stop by for that key lime pie! ;-)
xoxo,
Jen
Oh, good! You know EXACTLY what I am talking about. Come on back anytime and we’ll make some pie and have a great chat.
Meegan, your “nod to fall” is a great idea. I love the apples in those pretty pink glasses. And that big amber jug is perfect for fall. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!
Thank you, Angie! I always appreciate your comments. I love using colored glass for decorating. The apples are my favorite for Fall decorating. Thanks for stopping by.
Your amber demijohn is speaking my autumn-amber-loving-language! So many lovely elements, Meegan! Pinned!
Thank you for sharing your transitional summer to Fall decor ideas. They look amazing!
Meegan – this is a perfect nod to fall! We never would have thought to use fruit…genius! Your cottage apartment is lovely!
Meegan, I love your subtle nod to fall decor! The apples, pinecones and amber glass jug all speak to the gradual transition from summer to fall. I’m totally crushing on that gorgeous chandelier! I’d love to pull a seat and have a slice of your key lime pie, too :) It was nice to join you on the home tour. Pinned!
I enjoyed your nod to Fall, Meegan. Using fruit is a great idea. It’s all very lovely.
I love how you used apples, tangerines, and blue mason jars to “fallify” your cottage apartment! So clever! It is the perfect way to ease into fall. I always enjoy hopping with you!
