Book Page Flowers

September 18, 2012 By Meegan 4 Comments

Hey everyone! I have a fun and easy craft for you with book pages today. Book Page Flowers are SO easy and fun to create.

I am thinking about a few Fall ideas.  Against my will, Fall is coming upon us!! I think these book page flowers are perfect for anytime of year.

How To Make Book Page Flowers

Here are 2 book page flowers I made.  I just love how they turned out!

This is how I made my Book Page Flower, it actually has similar steps as my book page wreath.  Oh so easy!!

I bought a book for 75 cents at the thrift store and tore out the pages.

Book Page Flower Petals

I made 3 sizes of petals.

Book Page Flower Steps

To adhere the book page petals I used my glue gun to a cardstock piece about 6×6 inches.

Large Petals for Book Page Flower

I started with the larger petals for my first row.  I filled in until I thought it looked full and even.

Second Layer of Smaller Petals on Book Page Flower

I filled in the second row with the smaller petals.  Bringing them closer to the center.  So far, so good!!

Middle of Book Page Flower

For the center, I glued 3 tiny petals together.

They perfectly fill the center of the flower.

Book Page Flower Paper Clip Holder

This part is so cool!!  I used a clip paper clip for my hanger!!  Easy, right?

I clipped it onto a corner of the cardstock for easy hanging. Put my nail or tack in the wall and I was set.

Since it is a clip, you can even clip Book Page Flowers to furniture, lampshade or any accessory. OR even on a present for the vintage lover in your life.
