An Obsession With Book Pages

I also have an obsession with book pages!!  Any chance I can I use them.  They can be large or small.  The older the better!!  Another fun thing about book pages is that I don’t  spend more than a $1.00 for any one book!

You can give a vintage book new life by making crafts with the book pages. I have made 18 book page crafts (so far) to show you here. Each one is unique and creative.

18+ Book Page Crafts by meeganmakes

Here are just a few things I like to do with book pages:

Book Page Wedding Banners. What a great idea!

Tape or glue book pages together to make a back drop, a banner, or a garland.

Vintage Book Page Cones in Jars with Snow Flakes. LOVE it.

Roll and tape book pages into cones, and place them in jars.

Book Page Christmas Tree decorating. SO fun and easy.

You can make a tiny banner and more cones for some Christmas decorations.

How To Make a Burlap and Book Page Garland

Make a book page garland and add some burlap for added texture.

Stenciled Birds on a Book Page Canvas

Book pages with stenciled birds are easy to make using a canvas and mod podge.

How To Make Book Page Flowers

Book page flowers look cute in any home or for any style.

Again, using mod podge, I added book pages to this old jar.

Book Page Ornament. SO easy to make.

Also using mod podge, I added torn pages and glitter to the paper mache’ ornament.

The glitter really adds to a richer look, don’t you think??  Just like PB.

Book Page Christmas Hymn

You don’t always have to use the original book page, you can make copies of it, like I did here.

Book Page Cones. SUPER easy to make.

Here are a few more book page cones with my milk bottles and some pine cones.

Book Pages with Colored Coffee Filters

You can add coffee filters along with your book pages for a more full and colorful garland.

Book Page Table Runner

Book pages make a perfect table runner.

At this wedding, the book pages add depth and a vintage feel.

book page wreath in a vintage frame

Book page wreaths are a classy look for any room or occasion.

Amazing what you can do with simple book pages. Love the frame with the Christmas song. I have some Christmas song pages I plan to do something with for my table, but undecided right now. I bought five old Baptist Hymnals, so have lots of song pages to work with.
    Happy Christmas.

I have a thing for old books too…these are some great ideas! The frame with the Christmas song reminds me of a gift I gave my husband one year. I framed some sheet music of our wedding song, burnt the edges to make it look old and painted the frame kind of rustic and shabby.

Hi Meegan :-) I just got an idea by looking at your homepage… I need to make a new “dress” for one of my lampshades, and it struck me; do it with some old books and use glue and then som lacquer, so I can clean it, once and a vile… Thank u for all your inspration.. <3
