New Living Room Look

May 29, 2015 By Meegan 4 Comments

Happy Friday everyone!  We have had kids visiting form Oregon here all week.  It has been a lot of fun with grandkiddos here.  The giggles and snuggles are the best.

But today I wanted to show you my new living room furniture.  It gives our home a New Living Room Look.

This is what it used to look like.

Living Room Before

Here is a sneak peek of something new to change our New Living Room Look.

Love Seat Feet

What do you think so far??? Gotta love me some vintage looking feet with a weathered look. And I THINK I see some tufts…

love seat

YES!  There is tufting at the bottom.  I have been looking at tufted sofas for over a year, crossing my fingers I might get a tufted sofa in the future.

OH! Did I mention this was a surprise Mothers Day gift from Hubby? And yes, I was definitely surprised! I thought I might get something simple, like flowers, or a vintage looking “something or other”. BUT, I got a new love seat.

Why a love seat and not a sofa?

Well, we had a sofa in the living room for the past 4 years and frankly, it took up too much space.  No matter how we positioned the room, it was still too big.

Besides that, we had given away our sofa in the TV room and we need something to sit on in there besides our desk chairs. (Not that comfortable when watching TV, trust me.)

Love Seat Back Tufting

Isn’t it so lovely?  The tufts up on the arms and back are my fave.

Now we have a New Living Room Look, with just changing the sofa to a love seat.

Hubby purchased the love seat at RC Willey. The manufacturer is Aria.

It intrigues me how a piece of furniture can change the whole look of a room.  Any room.  Have you found that to be the case for you, as well?

I feel like our living room is finally finished.

We have our Farmhouse Coffee Table, The Thrifted Rattan Chair, my PB Inspired night stand, a floral rug, and a chair that helped me create my own style.

There are just a few things I want to do to add a touch of Summer to our home. I will be showing you that next week for the Balsam Hill Summer Tour.  Yay! I can hardly wait. It is  going to be very exciting with over 20 amazingly talented bloggers. Mark your calendars and set your phones-it is going to be fabulous.

I adore your new “love seat” from it’s chunky vintage feet to it’s tufted arms and back!!!
A “perfect” spot to snuggle and watch TV!!!
Your hubby is certainly a “keeper”!!!
