Recipe For One Dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies

April 24, 2018 By Meegan Leave a Comment

Sometimes I just want a couple of cookies. Not a WHOLE batch of cookies. You know, like for a late night snack or when company drops by. So, I went in my kitchen and created a Recipe For One Dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies.

It took me a few tries to get it right. And, once I did, they are now addicting.

These cookies are soft, crunchy on the edges and perfect for dunking into a cold glass of milk.

I like this concept because I can bake a dozen cookies within a few minutes. Or make the dough ahead of time and freeze it. Then when friends stop by, my neighbor needs a “pick-me-up”, OR I just want some comfort food-my chocolate chip cookie recipe is ready to go.

Recipe For One Dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream together:

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup (softened) butter or shortening

1 egg

1/2 tsp real vanilla

Sift in:

1 1/4 cup white flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

Blend ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Fold in:

1/2-3/4 cup chocolate chips

Bake at 350* for 8 minutes on UN-GREASED baking sheet.

This Recipe For One Dozen Chocolate Chip Cookies will become one of your most favorite treats.

It is always a joy to share what I love to do. One of those things happens to be baking. It is like therapy for me. If I am stressed, worried or just need to wind down-I like to head into my kitchen and bake.
