Fall is the time when we start thinking about yummy comfort foods. Some of them are savory and some are sweet. Today I am sharing a recipe for a sweet comfort food-“Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallow Treats”. This has long been a family fave.
No sooner do I pour it into a 8×8 dish, and it is gone! I am sure it will be the same for your family, as well.

Now, doesn’t this look like it will melt in your mouth? Mmmm, mmmm…Oooey, Gooey Goodness!
Are you ready for the recipe?
I bet you are…
*This post was updated November 2025.
Oh! Did I mention it is only THREE ingredients? Couldn’t get any easier…

{Meegan’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallow Treats}
Ingredients:
1 12 oz package semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1 bag mini marshmallows
Directions:
Melt chocolate chips in microwave 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each increment of 15 seconds, until melted and smooth. *Be careful not to over cook them, as the chocolate chips will turn into a chocolate crumbly mess and you can’t use them.
Once the chocolate chips are melted, fold in the peanut butter.
When you have a smooth, creamy texture fold in marshmallows until well coated.
Pour onto wax paper to cool, or into cupcake cups for serving guests.

How easy is that! Chocolate Peanut Butter Marshmallow Treats.
This recipe is always made at Christmastime, but now one will argue if you make it any other time, that’s for sure.
I mean, who doesn’t like peanut butter and chocolate together, right?
