Shabby Chic Decoupage Projects

January 9, 2017 By Meegan Leave a Comment

Today is going to be a really fun day here on my blog. After searching through my blog archives, I found 7+ Shabby Chic Decoupage Projects. Each is unique and not thought of as a decoupage craft.

BUT, they definitely are. This is not an ad or sponsored post. Just something I thought you would enjoy.

Let’s start right off the bat with my decoupaged book spines. As you can see, I created a picture on the spines. I was really excited to make this using scrapbook paper and decoupage. Not the easiest project, but definitely worth it.

Using an inexpensive book case from Target, vintage dictionary pages and decoupage, I created a whole new look for our office.

I love birds and vintage book pages (as you might be able to tell already). Combining both of them on canvas with stencils, this is what I was hoping for. They have looked beautiful hung in our laundry closet, bathroom and living room.

One of my newest decoupaged projects was to add fresh eucalyptus leaves to Dollar Store candles. This wasn’t the easiest craft, but the results are stunning. Taking my time was the key for the DIY Eucalyptus Candles.

Martha Stewart Decoupage on a Plate

As a new blogger, I was asked by the Martha Stewart team to use her water proof decoupage in any craft. I decided to make a jewelry tray. With craft paint, doilies and Martha’s decoupage, I now have a place to set my Grandma’s vintage brush and comb set.

You may have seen a few decoupaged pumpkins this past Fall. I made mine years ago, before I started blogging. This pumpkin has a door knob as a stem. The one below has a REAL pumpkin stem.

I saved the stem from a pumpkin I had last year. The book pages add texture and depth.

As I was looking for a wreath that would fit my shabby, cottage style. I was unsuccessful. Using a straw wreath, book pages (again!), and decoupage, Now I have one wreath in FOUR styles. It’s fun to hang on the door for almost every season or Holiday.

These Shabby Chic Decoupage Projects are fun to make. PLUS they really are styled to fit in any home. Each one would be a delightful gift.

Which of the Shabby Chic Decoupage Projects do you want to make first? I think I am in the mood to make another jewelry tray.

Thanks for stopping by. It always makes my day to have you here. For more crafts and ideas, please look below.

Make a wonderful day.
