I have been thinking about this DIY Book Page Waste Basket for months now. And have been wanting to make it for awhile now.
I finally got around to it. And, loving the results! It was easy and didn’t even take me too long.
Here are all the details how to make your own DIY Book Page Wastebasket…
Gather the components which are linked below:
vintage dictionary book pages (I bought mine at the thrift store)
After brushing on the mod podge, carefully place the dictionary pages on the plastic waste basket. Try to keep them smooth, brush mod podge over the pages, without tearing them.
To cover the bottom and top edges, tear smaller book page pieces to fill in all around the waste basket.
Now the book pages are ready for the botanical cut out. As you can see in the picture, cover the whole wastebasket with thick and smooth layers of mod podge.
And…Here it is! It looks pretty, doesn’t it? This DIY Book Page Wastebasket can go in the office, bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, or even the living room.
This DIY Book Page Wastebasket was easy, fun and it looks pretty enough for guests to see. To make your own, you could use wrapping paper, scrapbook paper, or any paper you like.
I just happen to LOVE book pages, so this is just right for me. I would love for you to make one soon with your own style and taste and let me know all about it.
