Whew!! We made it through our son’s wedding and reception this past weekend!! It was beautiful, and sacred. Our son was so handsome, and his new wife was just gorgeous. It was a great time with all seven kids and 17 of the 18 grand babies. The time is always too short when we are together.
I thought it would be fun to share a sampling of a few Wedding Reception Ideas and Photos. I hope you enjoy all of them…
This was the area for the reception line. Do you recognize my coffee filter wreath?? I also wrapped a chipboard E and K with twine to add to the vignette.
My daughter and I found the cute bird cage, and we knew it needed to be placed with the coffee filter wreath.
The frames used in the gift area were from my empty frame wall gallery in our TV Room. And of course, the blue bottles were perfect for this table, as well.
I hand painted and sanded the french doors. (I will have a tutorial soon). One of my talented daughter’s designed and decorated the candy bar and dessert table. Don’t you just love the whole look with all the textures?? Remember the 2500 dyed coffee filters?? There are just a few in the pic.
Here is a view of the whole room and set up. Coffee filters everywhere!! Just the way my new daughter-in-law pictured it!! Also notice the table center pieces. My daughter made those as well.
The lights were low and the twinkling lights came on when guests arrived.
Even though I can’t take credit for this table design, I painted all the jars for this wedding and I made the coffee filter garland. (There will also be a tutorial for that soon) Isn’t the table just gorgeous??
I didn’t get to help decorate with the reception as much as I would have liked, because I was over decorating for the Wedding Dinner. Those pics are for tomorrow. Until then… I am also on Pinterest, Facebook, Hometalk and Stumble Upon. Come join along with me as I share what I love, and love what I do.
Make it a terrific Tuesday!!

You really out did yourself.
I don’t know how you hauled all that stuff from Las Vegas, and then managed to get everything in place in such a short time.
Shows determination, dedication, and LOVE. I am IMPRESSED.
