Vintage Cottage Christmas Tour

December 11, 2017 By Meegan 13 Comments

If you are visiting from Mizz Helen’s Country Cottage, I am so happy you have arrived for my Vintage Cottage Christmas Tour. This year I have a vintage vibe with a colorful style in our Christmas decor. I am excited to share our Christmas condo cottage with you. Welcome to my Vintage Cottage Christmas Tour.

At the end of this post you will see many more bloggers with Christmas decor and ideas you will enjoy.

So, let’s have some fun and enjoy the Christmas spirit.

As some of you know, my husband collects snow globes. This year my Christmas tablescape highlights part of his collection.

Above our bed in the Master bedroom ,we have a mantel, rather than a headboard. This year I filled it with a vintage style Christmas.

Using vintage style Christmas ornaments I created a Christmas centerpiece.

I have a few Christmas plates, and I thought it would be fun to display them along with our Vintage style Christmas ornaments. If you notice, I like small Christmas trees, too. Glittery, natural or lit up-they are fun to decorate with.

The vintage village (which was my Grandma’s), sits in an olive bucket for a unique look and style.

In our living room, I have vintage pieces from my own childhood. Such as the Elf, Christmas bells on curly branches and plaid ribbon tied on vintage bottles.

I made a new Christmas decoration using flower pods, and I LOVE them. I will be sharing just how I did it in just a few days. So, stay tuned…

A Nativity is always a must in our home at Christmastime.

Our white nativity set was purchased when we were first married. That was 40 years ago-SOOO…I guess it is ALMOST vintage, right?

My aqua aluminum tree is filled with satin ribbon and clear crystals. It looks vintage, but I bought it at Hobby Lobby the day after Christmas a few years ago.

The drawer the tree sits in was actually found at an abandoned home in the desert. The whole home was filled with sand. Yes, you read that right FILLED with sand.

This is a view into our living room from our kitchen.

This vintage sleigh has to be one of my favorites at Christmas.  Sometimes it is filled with Santa and presents. But, this year I chose to use vintage ornaments, greenery and a glittery deer for decorating.

At the end of my Vintage Cottage Christmas Tour, this is a view from our breakfast nook into our living room.

As you can see our home is filled with Christmas spirit. Whether it is old or new, our Christmas decorating is part of our past and future.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Your next stop will be Patti from Hearth and Vine  She is talented, stylish and has many creative ideas. I hope you enjoy the ‘Tis The Season Christmas Home Tour”. There is something for everyone.

Make it a wonderful Christmas season.

Meegan, as usual, I could linger on your blog for hours checking out all of the details. Love your special and unique touches. The one I will take with me today (AKA steal—borrow in polite company—LOL) is the three tired stand with the amazing ornaments displayed on each tier. I don’t have a three tier stand, but it’s on my must have list now. Thanks for inviting us into your lovely home. It’s always such a treat. Merry Christmas! XOXO Susie from The Chelsea Project
