Six Summer Cake Recipes

May 31, 2017 By Meegan 1 Comment

When looking through my recipe file, I found Six Summer Cake Recipes, Each is fresh and has a fresh fruit flavor. Whether it is citrus, pineapple or berry-each one is ideal for Summer.

All of your family and friends will love each of the Six Summer Cake Recipes I am sharing today.

Let’s start with my Orange Cream Cake Recipe

Filled with fresh cream and an orange sauce made with orange juice and grated peel. You will be making this all Summer.

Oh my goodness! My Naked Cake recipe with melt in your mouth.

Piled high with layers of white cake, and in-between each layer you bite into homemade butter cream frosting with raspberry jam. I am telling you, the combination of the flavors and presentation will impress your guests. Topped with fresh flowers, it is a perfect dessert for a dinner party.

I wish I had a better picture of this delicious Coconut Tres Leche Cake.

I guess I will need to make one real soon. Then I can get some REALLY good pictures, right? ANYWAY! Have you ever had Tres Leche Cake before? The definition is Tres-3. Leches-Milks. Usually, I make mine with a white cake in a 9×13 pan. While the cake is still warm I poke holes with a fork into the cake. Then come the 3 milks…All I can say is “It is coconut heaven.”  A fun, moist cake for your next pool party.

Are you a lemon and chocolate lover?  Well, my Lemon Truffle Chocolate Cake is perfect for you!

Starting with a moist lemon cake, filled with homemade lemon filling and frosted with chocolate frosting made from scratch. How could you go wrong? It truly tastes like a Lemon Truffle from See’s Candy.

My next recipe is for Orange Cupcakes. This has been in our family for years.

My Grandma used to make them them starting in Spring. Usually at Easter time. This recipe is made from scratch. From the batter to the frosting and grated orange peel-it is a recipe that you definitely need in your file.

Yum! Another family fave cake recipe is the Hawaiian Delight Cake.

I have always been a coconut lover. Not only that…I like cream cheese, pineapple, fresh whip cream and pudding. If you are anything like me, then you will love this Hawaiian Delight Cake Recipe.

This cake is a delicious dessert for your next Luau.

I hope you will try my Six Summer Cake Recipes for your family and friends soon. Each one is unique and flavorful.

When you do try one, leave a comment to let me know what you think. I would love to hear all about it!

Thanks for stopping by and making my day even better!

Make it a great day.
